To kick off 2022, Bony Fly launches a new series of bootlegs blending club music with soundsystem culture. For this first edition of « Interpretations », the producer explores the sonic characteristics of acid music, by incorporating it with dancehall music.

Going from bashment influences, to ambient and dance music, this avant-garde EP blends the old-school with the new-school, in terms of sounds, visuals, approach and mixing.

In this project, contemporary dancehall vocals serve as the foundation to his innovative perspective. Don Mateo’s sound signature defined by heavy low-ends, dramatic build ups and unique ambient sound textures is faithful to his approach to music in this EP. The four bootlegs come with four dub version, mixed with his analog equipment. The unofficial remixes will be out February 4 on Bandcamp and dub versions on February 11 on DSPs, via Dimelow.
